We're back with more exciting adventures from the world of children's entertainment. Today, we're going to take you on a journey to two fantastic events we recently attended in Northamptonshire, the Harpole Scarecrow Festival and Winwick Open Air cinema screening of Jurassic Park. These events featured your favourite mascots - Peppa Pig, Batman, Spiderman, Elsa, and our lovable Dinosaur mascots, Reggie the Rex and Trixie. Get ready for a wild ride filled with laughter, suspense, and lots of photo ops!
Scarecrow Festival Spectacle
Imagine a village filled with whimsical, handcrafted scarecrows of all shapes and sizes. That's exactly what we found at the Harpole Scarecrow Festival! This delightful event takes place annually in the heart of our town, Northampton, where families from Harpole create and display their imaginative scarecrows on their front gardens and doorsteps. It's not just about the scarecrows though; there are games stalls, contests and food stalls galore.
Our mascot squad was a hit at the festival! Kids were thrilled to meet Peppa Pig, Batman, Spiderman, Elsa and our friendly Dinosaur mascots, Reggie & Trixie. The children's faces lit up with joy as they interacted with their favourite characters.
Winwick Open Air Cinema: Jurassic Park Adventure
After a day of scarecrow adventures, it was time for Winwick’s movie night under the stars. Their open-air cinema screening of Jurassic Park was an unforgettable experience. Families spread out on blankets, enjoying the hot September’s evening air and the anticipation of seeing dinosaurs come to life on the big screen.
But that's not all – our dinosaur mascots, Reggie & Trixie made an appearance before the movie to add a touch of prehistoric excitement! Guests were also treated to an outdoor disco and the night concluded with a fantastic firework display.
It was a night to remember for both kids and parents.
